Globus Sensation
- Previously called globus hystericus.
- It is the sensation of having a lump in the throat when there is nothing.
- Swallowing can be performed normally, so it is not a true case of dysphagia. This is commonly seen in gastroesophageal reflux disorder and in extremely anxious persons.
Symptoms Of Globus Hystericus
- One may feel mild chest pain or even severe pain with a clicking sensation when swallowing.

Kasayam
- Nayopayam kasayam (muhur muhur ) in 60 ml dosage.
- Gandarvahastadi kasayam in 60 ml morning and night.
- Bhandaradi kasayam 60 ml morning and night.
Curnam
- Asta curnam – 1 teaspoon with warm water morning and night after food.
- Cardula curnam -5 gms with warm water morning and night after food.
- Naraca curnam -5 gms with warm water morning and night after food.
- Dvirudram curnam -5 gms with warm water morning and night after food.
- Vaisvanara curnam– 1 teaspoon with warm water morning and night after food.
Gulika
- Dhanvantara gulika -2 nos with kasayam
- Hinguvacadi gulika 1-0-1 with kasayam.
Lehyam
- Kalyanka gdam -1 teaspoon with hot water at night.
- Trvrt lehyam – 1 teaspoon with hot water at night.
Ghrtam
- Kalyanaka ghrtam -1 teaspoon with peyam (rice gruel) at bedtime.
